2019-2021 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT STRATEGY
The Grupo Purdy 2019-2021 strategy establishes 5 goals for the economic, social andenvironmental axes.
The definition of each goal is the result of a consulting process we carried out with our target audience, the analysis of the business and a study of the Costa Rican reality concerning sustainability topics.
Economic
We are a leading company in the field, and we believe that a business can be both profitable and sustainable at the same time. Furthermore, we have a responsibility with our clients for promoting responsible use of our products and services.

Social
The social axis is divided into two large areas: the internal area, which focuses on the Purdy People –collaborators and their families- and the external area, which involves clients, communities and organizations that are linked to the company.

Internal:
We succeeded in training 63% of the Purdy People through our annual sustainability tour visiting all our branch offices and operations.
External:
We secured the participation of 411 volunteers, which accounted for 39%. This estimate is based on the participation of 1050 collaborators in the commitment.
Environmental
We are aware of the environmental impact of our industry. That is why we are constantly striving to be more efficient in using natural resources and in promoting clean technologies.
OUR PROGRESS DURING THE YEAR
We managed to save 12.024.44 liters of fuel and stopped the emission of 29.60 tons of CO2 in the environment just during the first year of the commitment.

During the first year, out of 8760 visits to our blogs 921 people showed interest in the topics. In addition to this digital training, we had an inclusive in-person event with 32 clients and their families, who were there for the purpose of learning driving techniques, both in theory and in practice.
Among the main results, our clients showed an improvement in their driving performance up to 25% in a controlled environment.
